Microsoft Accoubt Try Again in a Few Minutes

I powered off the Xbox, router and modem again then tried to login resulting in a different error message with the code 0x80a4001a. I once again removed the account from the Xbox and tried to log back in with success. I'm not sure what caused the fix so this won't be that helpful for anyone else running into this problem :/

Also be careful removing an account from an Xbox if you plan on still playing games that it owns. I didn't think that through...

I think error0x80a4001a means there were some network issues at your side, and there  might be lot of packet loss. You could have know this from Network Statistics on your Xbox.

Great that you were able to get it resolved but I guess may be what got it fixed was restarting the modem/router.

It's entirely possible that nothing you did had any effect. The reason i say this is because the previous person is correct in that it was a network issue. As such its entirely possible that whatever the problem was with your connection resolved itself. And you did the right thing by power cycling each component in your connection. And power cycling any one of them alone could have fixed it. Removing your account in this case is probably the last thing to try, because it's unlikely, although possible (maybe something in the account profile had corrupted and was preventing the connection). But i think what is most likely, is that there was a problem somewhere in the connection that was causing it (could have been a problem that your ISP corrected, it could really have been anything) and it corrected itself. But i am gkad everything is working. You did all the right things. Have a wonderful night.

I have the same problem today, I removed my account from my xbox, it is the solution proposed by microsoft STUPID support online.
I found back my account after three attempts (I thought I'd lost it !)  , but i still can't log in. It has no explanation... It says "you must have internet to do that", when I test the connexion, all is all right...
I'm just getting out of my nerves with this.

My daughter never had this kind of problems with her playstation, I think I'm going to change to this, it's un bearable to cannot play the some days in the month I could...

EDIT  : at least 20 times I must enter my password and still nothing... Becoming mad...

Are you able to get into your account on the website?

If you are, your network is good, and still have not been able to get into your account on console, I would recommend doing a soft reset of your console.

It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts (as they will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network .

Also make sure that you select the option denoted reset and keep my games and apps.

I had this code and checked my network settings, it said I had a double NAT. If you go into port selection and choose a different port manually it should correct the double NAT. Hope this helps!

This started about two days ago, I went to login to Xbox live but I get an error message message saying that it couldn't sign me in:

"Try again in a while

We can't sign you in. Try again in a few minutes or check service status in Xbox Assist. (0x87DD0011)"

It's always the same message but the error code at the end has changed at least once. The current error code didn't show any results when I looked it up and the other code had something to do with games not downloading properly however I don't remember that one.

I've tried removing the account from the Xbox and readding it, resetting both my router and modem as well as the Xbox itself but nothing has worked. I only have this problem with one account, the other account on my system work fine.

Offhand are you able to login to your account on the xbox website?  This might help to narrow down if its related to something just on the xbox or on MS end.
